I personally feel that’s too close in for speckled trout this time of year. You could certainly get into a handful out there, but you’d be better off fishing further out at places like Stone Island ( 29° 34.785’N 89° 31.974’W ) and Iron Banks. Basically the Black Bay area.
The rigs around that area are also worth trying.
I think you could fish redfish on the “inside” in Delacroix, but those same areas are hit by the dead shrimp guides and bow guides. That’s a lotta pressure.
I think your boat can do Black Bay with the predicted wind forecast for the 21st.
