Years ago when I bought my boat, the previous owner had an ulterra on it. I immediately removed it and replaced with a new riptide terrova. I have been on friends boats too many times where the ulterra didn’t deploy or retract. No thanks.
If I have to buy another one, I’m opting for the power pole or garmin branded unit due to brushless motor. I have no complaints on my riptide terrova with remote / i-pilot.
