Stick with the power lines.
The easiest way to do this is with sonar, just like what you see here. It doesn’t get easier than that.
If you don’t see redfish, it’s because they’re not there. Easy. Easy. Easy.
If you don’t have sonar, you are stuck with manually fishing each set of pilings, which will be a chore. A chore, but doable.
Checking a dozen or more before finding them is normal. Finding them at the first set happens, too. You never really know until you get out there.
