I fished with two buddies today and it wasn’t a bust but wasn’t as good as you. The weather forecast made us nervous to run that far from Lafitte. We didn’t go south beyond creole bay. Definitely not all the way to GI. I applaud your guts. It was one of the few days where the weather was a LOT better than what we expected. On the flip side, the fishing didn’t match up. We made a few strategic errors. I’ll try and put a report together tomorrow but long story short, keeper trout are apparently being caught throughout the Barataria basin and we are still waiting on the summer pattern to develop.
