I like it, but share your concern that areas that have been explored and drilled that much tend to have lots of oil field trash, etc. that could ruin your day. Old pipelines, stuff like that.

So I would run your white route and even my orange route on a day you’re done fishing and you’re not pressed by time.

The orange route is more of an unknown, but would be shorter. Go slow and check it out then you’ll have that route. This seems like extra work but it’s what I do and my future self always thanks me.
