I’m a wee uncomfortable having my logo out there in the wild en-masse for a few reasons.
Reason #1: I am not worried about getting my brand in front of people. I got that, and more does not equal “better”. Better equals better.
Reason #2: You guys are squared away and awesome and the best thing since sliced bread. You know who you are, but go count the number of dudes who actually post fishing reports. There are way more dudes who don’t. There will be “The One” amongst that group who will fk this up for everyone and when he does my logo will be on his boat. Nope nope nope.
That also goes the other way. If I do or say something stupid on the Internet, then all of you with a recognizable logo are associated with that. 99% of people in Louisiana love me, but there are 1% who don’t because haters gonna hate. Do the math, that’s roughly 50,000 haters. lol
Reason #3: Anonymity is great. I don’t think too many people understand that. Keep it low key. It’s hard putting tooth paste back in the tube.
Reason #4: When the sticker eventually gets compromised you will want to peel it off an get a new one.
Reason #5: Amateurs advertise.
The solution here is a rolling innocuous decal. If you see a smoke-show mermaid with a speckled trout bottom, then that’s probably LAFB Elite. Or maybe not. Use your head. This will weed out the retards.
@WestbankJosh do you think you could fiddle with an AI generator to make something that’s printable in a 5″x5″ format? Like what you see attached here? When you find something you like, post it here. When we can get enough consensus as to what’s good I’ll foot the bill to get the decals done.
