personally think you made the right call 100% the fish you got on your own are worth way more in the long term. and the hole point we are all members here.
but also don’t think anything wrong whit sharing spots. specially if like you said you are in a kayak and so somewhat limited whit distance to the launch.
think most good captains also like to teach so picking their brains on why they went to check that/them spots to begin whit is better info then the spot them selfs
