I’ll be down there this weekend. I haven’t game planned inshore. With the success I’ve had inshore lately I was hoping to go get some snapper if the conditions allow.

I did hear of limits being caught at Independence island. I don’t mark much on sonar there. I guess you just have to trust the coordinates. It covers around 8 acres I believe.

Hackberry was really good to me in the fall pattern, but no luck in the spring pattern yet to speak of, but I haven’t had the best water clarity or tides.

I had some solid honey holes in Leeville. I haven’t done anything since the freeze.

I feel like the high river water has to be pushing trout towards the island. I also considered venturing east to first clear water outside of the mudline. Modis shows it near the Empire canal. Historical images from 2020 are interesting.
