They hold on, not as good as a death grip. But they hold on better than just about every other brand. I’m not a fan of the screw coiled locks on jig heads, that are on some of the bass lure jig heads they don’t hold the lure as well. I seen the z-man trout eyes and thought I’m not paying $6 for 3 jigheads. That’s one reason I started making my own. Plus when you lose 7 or 8 jigheads between hwy11 and train bridge you find a way to make it cheaper and why not make a better looking one too?
