I have read a lot of good reviews on the Li Time batteries. Are you able to charge the cranking battery directly from the engine? I read that the charging systems on some motors didnt work well with lithium batteries. Might have just been with some of the Yamaha Motors. I replaced my trolling motor this year. Went from 24v to a 36v. the added weight from the trolling motor and additional battery I lost 3 MPH. Which doesnt sound like much, but when running with a buddy’s boat, that 3 MPH gave me the extra edge. LOL. bragging rights. So I have been considering swapping to a lithium just for the weight savings alone.
Never mind the cranking/charging questions. Saw you answered in a different post and read it too fast.
