When it’s first open, the trout fishing is usually good until it’s all fresh water. In the past usually caught a lot of redfish until algae blooms start happening. After we get algae, have to move around more and find clean water. Usually stop fishing the lake and start fishing ICW and borgne or start going out to fish summer pattern (rigs and islands).
