Oh and the double rig… I think one reason it was working so well that day is that when throwing a single jig, every cast it had dead weeds… By throwing a staggered double, the top jig was always clear… Then id pick up the second fish just reeling slow…
I saw Todd Mason (and you also) use a heavy double rig fishing the jump. it just makes sense to me… A heavy dropshot is already wonky to cast (having two line ends), why not make the sinker be a lure and possibly catch two lol
