Yeah like Devin said, the first day you are there it will be blowing like crazy. The way to early forecast says it might slow down a little bit, but I don’t trust anything other than Windfinders super forecast because it uses topography and that will only go out 3 days.
I second cat island, probably would be good to wade out there. There are tons of grass flats on the west side of the island so you probably need to go something weedless or top water.
Be careful around the south spit, that sand bar goes a decent ways out. There is also a reef on the beach side that I’ve heard good things about but never fished it. They said you can find cobia around there during the summer.
I would approach it very similar to Chandeleur. Hopefully you will have some good weather!
