I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the conditions do not care about your spring break. Sorry, but unless things change (and they could) I would not dream of launching from Mississippi and fishing/boating across open water with a 20mph SE wind.
I get it: BSL is nice and idyllic and tons of stuff to do, but fishing in a 20mph SE wind does not fall in that category.
Personally, if it were me, I wouldn’t go fishing. But, if I absolutely had to, I would trailer somewhere else, and that somewhere else would be some place protected from the wind, like Deer Island in Biloxi or even going to Ocean Springs. You could even try Wolf River or Bayou Portage in BSL/Pass Christian but you would be doing so during a time everybody and their mom is going to be out there pressuring the fish.
If you do, it would very much be in your best interest to apply the exact same process use in 101. If you don’t, you are risking navigational nightmares and getting your ass kicked in open water. That’s it, nothing more, nothing less.
