Yeah, so I pulled those coordinates from the Facebook post (that you can find at this link) and I am thinking he hit the actual dredge pipe and not something left behind or otherwise unmarked.
Because dredging is a more common part of CPRA’s effort to restore the marsh, I wrote this guide detailing how to boat around dredge pipes.
It’s the simple sh*t, guys. Totally preventable. Don’t be that guy.
