    So apparently Mississippi can stop the spillway from opening. They evidently filed and won a lawsuit against the Corps the last time it was opened, citing it had a negative impact on their shrimp and oyster industries. Since they won that, apparently they have to OK any spillway openings from now on.

    Just thought this was interesting so I wanted to share.
