I was on Big Lake that day also. The water at calcasieu point was as muddy as I’ve ever seen it. I caught no keepers in turners bay, 1 keeper up at haymark terminal and nothing in the LNG canal. There were a few reds and drum on the cleaning table at the marina that afternoon, from around the old jetties on the south end of the lake im told. I didnt have the boat for that run. Like you mentioned, it was a fine day to be on the water regardless. In those areas, salinity has crept up very little since then, but I do hope to be there again soon.
