Man it was a tough day out there today. For the first half of the day i couldnt buy a bite. Josh caught like 3 at the dam. I dont know if it was boat positioning or what the issue was at the dam. We bounced around similarly and got similar results. I only caught 3 fish, 2 keepers and a white trout. Josh caught 4 keeper trout, a keeper red, and a throw back flounder.
The only thing that made me feel better was during the LDWF survey, the agent showed us his logs, almost everyone had a 0 marked next to it. Said one or two other people came in with 5 fish. Tough day.
What i gathered from this trip was: the fish are scattered out. and they are mainly still inside. Dont waste time outside yet. Unless you are targeting sheepshead, stay on the inside.
