I miss that area, fished it alot till about 20 years ago and have been thinking about it lately. In spring I personally used to do better with redfish in black lake, along the eastern shoreline and along a pipeline that ran east-west. I know many others have done well on trout in BL I always did better with spring trout fishing the bends in Kelso bayou just to the east, all the way out to the ship channel. Again, I haven’t been there in many years but hope to make a trip or two this year. Sorry I’m not more help.
