I don’t! lol The 3rd the pressure was over 30″ and I whacked the daylights out of them in 2-4ft of water. Same thing the day before, and all of them didn’t need to be measured. One was well over 20″. Then yesterday my guide friend and one of his buddies nearly caught an 8 man limit of trout, all on corks on the same pattern.
I’ll resort to Occam’s Razor to explain why the fish are where you caught ’em: that’s where the food is.
A good book on this is Spoonplugging by Buck Perry.
