I’m glad you posted this, because I was about to shut down the PC and go do tackle then head to bed. LOL

    Okay, lemme take a look.

“take some family out tomorrow instead of trying to fill a freezer”

What does that mean? You’re trying to put them on fish? That’s the idea, right?

“towards Bay Jack Nevette and Pointe Fienne”

You should do that again first thing in the morning. If anyone ever asks why you went do not say “bEcaUse dEviN sAiD”. You figured it out yourself.

90% sure I saw @Devin Roll through Jack Nevette around 10:45 AM lol.”

That’s a confirmed Devin Sighting. lol I wanted to check top end of Fienne, no luck, then drift Pontons, no luck there. Then I wanted to graph where Jack empties into Oak. I would check that when the water temps drop. Lots of bait in there.

    but the water was 60F”

Nailed it. Let’s call it the “not yet winter and mostly ran out of shrimp” pattern. They’re just not deep. I tried in Biloxi Marsh and tried today. At least all the ones I caught today and on the 30th were shallow.

I am tempted to fish Myrtle Grove/EBM”

Biloxi Marsh is Throwback City. Check my report here: https://www.lafbelite.com/forums/discussion/12-30-24-biloxi-marsh-specks/ Are you trying to catch fish or find clear water? Because today they were in dirtier water south of Oak.

I could be wrong, but I think they’re piled up against the river water and that’s just where bait tends to be. Maybe it’s one, maybe it’s both. I dunno. I just know we caught fish there easy on corks. Probably good to do with your family.

Seeing that the wind is laying down, casting corks will be easy and so will seeing tidelines.

As for Myrtle Grove, I have no idea what’s going on down there. If you’re more confident with that, then do that.

“I would rather explore a new area I think”

Do that. The lake could be done after this arctic blast plows through. Where are your next fish? Well today they were near dirty water and sometimes in it.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Be super careful running around by First, Second, Third Bays, Wreck Bay, etc. as a lot of that area has silted in hard. FAFO with your SeaTow membership if you don’t double check routes on GED.

Final note: I will be filming out there tomorrow. Please don’t yell at me as it makes editing horrible. Just please toot your horn and wave. Or stay in Incognito Mode. I could be struggling and may need the space to make it happen. Or maybe I’ll crush them and wave you over. lol
