I’d say given that it’s your first time you did great. Like, that’s a helluva start. Now you know what you’ve read about and how to go about tackling it. The Jump is great to fish because it gives you a taste (right away not far from the dock) what the rest of the river will be like. Like, you get mad fishing skills/instinct/knowledge by fishing The Jump.
