I didn’t have anywhere else to go besides Plan Redfish. I had fished other spots and they sucked. The only other spot I would have been comfortable duking it out was the Rock Dam, and that was a couple dozen miles away. That and the tide looked like it was going to turn, so just waiting seemed like the best option. It wasn’t an easy decision, but it was better to do than running 25 miles back to where I came from. lol
