Well, I’m sure she will still love you no matter what, but if she is like mine…..she might tease me for a few weeks about a skunked day. With your pride and time on water in mind… I’ll take a crack at it. I’m no expert and learning a bit myself.
Wind and cloud cover will be non-existent BUT it shouldn’t be to hot.
Good tidal range, Pearl is not that high
High Tide ~10am, Low tide at night, gonna bet the water temps in the mid 70s
I think its a good plan. Its a perfect day in my opinion. While in that area, would also trek through counterfeit pass. I’ve always had better luck with it on a falling tide though. Lake B is likely going to be manageable so can pop out to those small wells and bigger rig right out of the L&N. Can even play with a few live shrimp around the northern L&N bridge pilings for sheepshead.
Not a bad idea to run through a couple bayous and ditches on the ICW side, and if around when the tide is falling solid, then would check out Bayou Thomas, Unknown pass bridge.
Since its a Saturday, I would add a few more spots to your plan due to all the extra weekend traffic.
