lol right , I agree with you on it being out of our control. and yeah, most people have other things to do with their time than concern themselves with the master plan,myself included, I don’t even know how I ended up going down that rabbit hole. I think someone on here posted a link about something else… then I realized that the work being done on both sides of HWY90 by lake Catherine was CPRA work, as well as a number of other restoration projects
Do you really think installing locks at chef and rigolets pass will ruin fishing? I believe these locks remain open unless there is storm surge coming…
Another thought: what good does it do to put locks at chef and rigolets, but not the pearl , less than 2 miles away… won’t all that water just move into that inlet? Also I believe my subdivision will be hurt by all the new levees and locks… we live by cross gates in Slidell, they excluded us from the new levee system so I’m sure the water will push up the pearl and flood everything over there… who knows
