Water was moving opposite of last week but there must be good structure there that holds bait with good ambush spots regardless of water direction.
Sometimes a sweet spot is a sweet spot and that’s all there is to it. lol
Caught the first few fish with matrix shad under a cork but most on a jig slowly retrieved across the bottom.
No live bait required, I love it!
Had another experience with an asshole fisherman. I was sitting on spot lock and he came flying up near the side of me and immediately throttled back and looped behind me throwing a huge wake and then pulled right behind me and dropped his power pole. With a good cast I could have landed my jig on his boat.
Probably some guy with more $$$ than common sense and courtesy. It is what it is.
