Thank you!!
– Exactly what you mentioned about Facebook is EXACTLY why I’m trying to get away from it. I find myself doom scrolling and spending WAAAYYY to much time on it. I’d rather my kids see me educate myself with LAFB Elite, reading books, or just gathering knowledge in general instead seeing my face staring at my phone scrolling on Facebook all day. I’m not trying to bash Facebook, it has its purposes, I’m just tired of it. Posting my reports on this forum keeps me from logging onto Facebook and not getting sucked into to the scrolling abyss.
– Yes, I did mean to say Sulphur Mine. Not sure why I keep calling it the Salt Mine haha. Anyway, what you mentioned is exactly what was happening when I would catch a trout. I would get it to the surface and would watch it get smoked by a shark! At one point I tightened up my drag and just horsed them in which is probably the only reason I was able to land 8 in the boat.
– Going back to that chair well was definitely a good move. I didn’t have to deal with sharks as much there as I did the Sulphur Mine, just one Dolphin.
I also love Cocodrie! I know Grand Isle is great and I love it there as well, but there’s just something Cocodrie I love.
