    I like this report because it brings up something very important about moving water.

    It totally makes sense that you’d go to American Bay and not see water moving much (or at all), then hop into the Twin Pipeline and see it ripping there.

    While this video lesson inside IF101 fully describes why that’s the case, the graphics attached below do a good job, too.

    The Twin Pipeline has more flow velocity, American Bay more flow capacity.

    I still think you’re good to fish points in American Bay if water isn’t clearly ripping around them, but if it’s dead still then I wouldn’t bother (sounds like it was dead still).

    These spots I posted here are worth trying for redfish, I’m not sure if that’s too far for you or not.

    Bayou Duhe on the west side of Lery could be bangin’, too.

    Either way, you’ve posted a lot of great reports this summer and keep overall doing well in Delacroix. You’ve really taken that and ran with it. Your great work does not go unnoticed!
