Yeah man, I’d rather the kids have fun than find the Mother Lode. They’re gonna grow up, and you want them to have fond memories of this. When they get older they can help with actual duties and that’s a lot easier to do if they’re enthusiastic about it. Nothing is worse than raking your kids over the coals just trying to find fish. Good job on your part not doing that. lol
First time fishing the Marker 54 Shrimplets and they did great!

Dredging had stopped for 2 days so the water cleared up nicely and the trout were at the 2nd sandbar just past the rocks.
