    Went out on 7/24 and punched deep right to the edge of the sound. Fished oyster reefs around Redfish Bend and Drum sound. Had a massive day. 55 specks and some nice size white trout all kept. Almost no dinks. Lots of Gaftops and they were huge (snapped two poles), but with plastic kind of weeded them out somewhat.

    I have seen people fishing in the areas you were around the reef, Isle P, and flatboat key and its been a mixed bag, but overall what I have heard/read sounds promising. Only issue where you fished is that its a hot spot for MS gulf coast residents so can be tough in that regard.
