I have fished the rigs and reef in Lake Borgne in the last few weeks. There are nice fish there no doubt, but be prepared to do some hopping around. Each rig/reef seems to have its own “personality” per se. I have not fished the reef to the east of half moon island, but the one in the middle of Lake B is almost always worth a few casts. Just my experience, I find the smaller chair wells seem to hold more fish on average although I have had good days before at the big rig right out the L&N (30° 7.919’N, 89° 35.611’W).
