Yes, that’s a channel that runs from Lafitte all the way to the GoM.
On imagery from 1985 the spoil on either side is barely visible. It’d be interesting to graph it. Submerged rocks are just the best.
I tried pulling up Navionics to see if there are any notes for that area, but it’s being wonky right now.
