Some people fish it and catch a mixed bag and that more or less has been my experience.
But, I think what you ought to do is take a hard look at the reef to the east of there.
It’s marked by a white buoy at about 30° 8.817’N 89° 22.856’W
Attached is a .KML for all of Louisiana inshore artificial reefs. I didn’t make it, just got it off LDWF’s website. It could be put together better, but it works well enough.
