Understanding 2D, Down and Side Imaging Sonar

Inshore anglers don’t really use sonar, and that may have to do with the idiosyncrasies of our “inshore culture”, meaning that our fishing is so good we haven’t the absolute need for it.

But, if you want to take your understanding of structure, fish and angling to another level, then knowing and using electronics is where it’s at.

You begin by understanding the difference between these types of sonar.
