Apologies for not giving a follow up on the previous trip. Wind and water conditions were extremely poor so we spent our time crabbing. Left with 8 dozen and our limit on shrimp. I am half way through the 101 courses but I do not have access to GED at the moment. To more clarify I would like to get on the beach and find a nice top water bite but if that brings no luck then I plan on jigging the bottom to search the lower water. Last reports I have seen is that grass was an issue along Elmers so I don’t plan on venturing that direction. I definitely understand without GED there’s not much I can accomplish for a pre trip fishing plan. I what I do have in mind is to fish some rock points and around the fort on the east side of the island in hopes that the incoming tide will give nice moving water around the pass and any points on that side.
