The easiest way you’re going to catch a bunch of speckled trout is by finding them in the first place.
That west wind isn’t going to affect salinity to the point it will impact your fishing trip.
Have you read past fishing reports here? Historically EBM has been Throwback City. It’s been that way for a long time now.
But some good reports have come out of places reporting oyster reefs in 6-8 foot of water. Find that.
Comfort Island has historically been decent but no good recent reports out of there.
In a 24ft Sportsman you’ll be fine in wind tougher than what’s predicted. You ought to find some great water out there.
Also, I wouldn’t use non-marine forecasts.
