Great trip, this time of year is very hit or miss no doubt. One suggestion I can give you is always fish the upcurrent side. I typically try the up current side first. I want my bait drifting into or pass a corner of the rig, not away from the rig. Not saying you cant catch them on the down current side, I have had plenty crazy days fishing the down current side of rigs. I would definitely just give all side a look when you pull up to a rig. As for tide ranges and the breton sound. I have always done better this time of year on breton island when the tide is ripping, on lighter tide days I hit the rigs.
