I also came across the Shrimp Walker while doing some research. Apparently this concept has been around since the 1970s, though I do not recall seeing it before. The design you see in the picture below is newer.
I think it could be a good way to freeline shrimp in a near-snagless way, like into rigs for big trout or sheepshead.
I’m leery of gimmicks, but it does look like a special application that could have its place in tackle box. What do you guys think?
