Back to: Sight Fishing Mastery School
Your head should be on a swivel as you enter a pond, and these are the things to look for to determine if you should stay or go.
In the video below you can see how I run from river water towards the back of the pond. You can see the water clean up, from tan to black, as well as the grass patches that perform this filtering.
You can even see some bait busting on the surface as they flee the boat.
At the end of the video you can see the clean water get deeper. That’s where I would power down, drop the trolling motor and begin sight fishing!
This is an example of a pond that is too grassy for me to bother with. I kept rolling, looking for another pond to try.
There is no video now ….
Not sure what happened there, but we got it fixed. Enjoy the video!
Hey Devin, the lecture video is here twice and no way to mark complete. Also missing the previous/next lesson buttons.
Thank you. We’ll look at it and get it fixed ASAP
Hey David, we fixed it. Also be sure that you are logged in to record your progress. Thank you!
